Just received the new catalog from Pearl, and found this:
Mini-PC with Intel Dual Atom 2×1.6GHz, 400GB HDD
Flexible Operating System: Ubuntu 9.1
(which officially means Ubuntu 9.10, but I think the MAC OSX DTP Tool just lost the zero ;))
Oh well, I normally don’t like to say that, but sometimes I like Pearl :)
Ubuntu goes Mainstream :)

What makes Linux kernel in Ubuntu so flexible operating system what is not the case on any other distribution of Linux kernel?
I think it was more "A Flexible Operating System" which is in this machine: Ubuntu, but could have been also Fedora or OpenSuSE…
But what I found surprising, that Pearl, one of those distributors of every and any gadget you can think of, usable and also sometimes totally nonsense, ships a full fledged dual atom mini-pc with an OS which is not known by the normal customer base of them :)
I found also a sellable Ubuntu 8.04 LTS (OEM) CD to buy for 4.90 € later in the catalog..which was much more funny ;)
